What helps us help you

  • Bug reports — include the URL of the screen you were on. Every NowSky view encodes its state in the address, so one link reproduces exactly what you saw.
  • Data corrections — tell us which figure should change, and a source if you have one.
  • Feature ideas — a sentence on what felt missing goes a long way.

How corrections are handled

When you report a wrong figure, date or name, we check it against a source and fix the object page, article or simulator data. Pages that change show a new 'updated' date at the top, and notable changes are listed in the update notes. Who writes and reviews our pages is described in About — who writes the articles, and how.

Using NowSky in class, talks or exhibits

You are free to use NowSky links and screens in lessons and presentations as long as you credit NowSky (nowsky.org). If you plan to show it to a larger audience — an auditorium, a museum floor — email us the name of your organisation and what you plan to do. The scope of use is set out in section 5 of the terms.

What we can't help with

We can't advise on repairing telescopes, interpret astrology, or resolve account issues on other sites. Requests to view or delete your personal data can be sent to the same address; we handle them after confirming your identity.

For privacy matters, please see the privacy policy first.
